On a chilly October night, MJ was brushing his teeth before bed, humming a little tune. Suddenly, a knock came at his window. He pulled back the curtain and saw… a vampire kid hanging upside down, his cape fluttering in the wind!
“MJ!” the vampire called. “We need your help. Something terrible has happened to the vampire kids in Shadow Hollow.”
MJ blinked. “What happened?”
“Our teeth!” the vampire groaned. “They’re falling out because we ate too much candy! Without our sharp teeth, we’re no good at being vampires.”
MJ grabbed his backpack, filled it with toothbrushes and floss, and followed the vampire kid out the window. They flew over the glowing moonlit hills and landed in Shadow Hollow, a spooky village filled with bats, crooked houses, and giggling vampire kids—though some were crying and holding their mouths.
One of the bigger vampire kids stepped forward. His name was Victor, and he was the leader of the vampire kids. “Who’s this?” Victor asked, eyeing MJ suspiciously.
“This is MJ,” the little vampire said. “He knows all about teeth!”
Victor crossed his arms. “You’d better fix this fast. If we don’t get our teeth back, we’ll be in trouble. There’s a scary grown-up vampire doctor coming to check on us soon. If he finds out we lost our fangs, he’ll make us drink yucky bat soup instead of candy for a hundred years!”
MJ nodded confidently. “Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan.”
He asked all the vampire kids to sit in a line. Then, one by one, he checked their teeth with a flashlight from his backpack. “Yep, too much candy,” he said. “Your teeth need a rest. But don’t worry—I know someone who can help.”
Just then, a bat flapped down and turned into a tall vampire in a white coat. “I am Doctor Fang,” he announced with a deep voice. “Who dares summon me to Shadow Hollow?”
“It was me!” MJ said, stepping forward. “The vampire kids need your help. Their teeth are weak from too much candy, but they’re scared you’ll punish them.”
Doctor Fang raised an eyebrow. “Hmm… candy is tasty, but too much can indeed harm young fangs. Let me see what we can do.”
The doctor opened his magical dentist kit, filled with tools that sparkled and glowed. He gave each vampire kid a special toothpaste made of moonbeam dust and a shiny silver toothbrush.
“Brush your teeth twice a night,” Doctor Fang instructed. “And no more candy before bedtime!”
The vampire kids groaned but nodded. MJ helped show them how to brush properly, making it into a fun game. Victor, the big vampire kid, even joined in, showing off his bright fangs.
After everyone’s teeth were cleaned, Doctor Fang cast a spell to strengthen their fangs. “Your teeth are fixed, but remember to take care of them. Now go enjoy your Halloween—but stick to spooky apples and pumpkin treats!”
The vampire kids cheered and promised to listen. Victor patted MJ on the back. “Thanks for helping us. You’re pretty cool for a non-vampire.”
Doctor Fang turned to MJ and smiled. “You have the heart of a healer, young one. If you ever want to join my team, just call for me.”
MJ laughed and waved goodbye as the little vampire flew him home. As he crawled back into bed, MJ felt proud. He had saved Halloween for the vampire kids and learned the importance of healthy teeth!
The End.
