One quiet afternoon, MJ was playing with his toy dinosaurs in the living room when he heard a strange noise coming from the garage. It sounded like a mix between a roar and a hum. Curious, MJ put down his T. rex and crept to the garage.
Inside, he found an enormous glowing machine covered in gears, buttons, and a big screen that said: “DINO TIME MACHINE: DESTINATION SET – JURASSIC ERA.”
A tiny robot popped out of the machine. “Greetings, MJ! My name is Click, and I need your help! We’re traveling back to the time of dinosaurs to stop a terrible problem. Are you ready?”
MJ grinned. “Dinosaurs? Of course I’m ready!”
Landing in the Jurassic Era
MJ climbed into the machine, and with a whirl of lights and gears, they zoomed back millions of years. When the door opened, MJ stepped out onto a lush, green world filled with towering trees, volcanic mountains, and dinosaurs of every size. Triceratops munched on ferns, Pterodactyls soared through the sky, and a massive Brachiosaurus stretched its long neck to nibble on treetops.
“This is amazing!” MJ said.
But Click beeped nervously. “Don’t get too excited yet. The dinosaurs are in trouble! A giant asteroid is heading toward Earth, and we need to stop it before it crashes.”
Meeting Rex the T. rex
As they walked through the jungle, MJ and Click met a big, roaring T. rex named Rex. He looked scary at first, but then MJ noticed something strange—Rex’s teeth were sparkling clean, and he wore a funny pair of goggles.
“Hi there!” MJ said. “Are you a scientist?”
Rex nodded. “That’s right! I’ve been trying to find a way to stop the asteroid, but I can’t do it alone. I need someone brave, smart, and great with gadgets. Can you help?”
MJ puffed out his chest. “I’m great with gadgets!”
The Plan
Rex explained the plan. “We need to build a giant catapult to launch a boulder into space to knock the asteroid off course. But we’ll need materials from around the jungle.”
Click beeped. “I’ll keep track of the supplies we need: vines for ropes, rocks for the catapult, and a tree trunk for the base.”
MJ got to work. He climbed trees to gather the strongest vines, asked a Stegosaurus to help roll a giant boulder, and even borrowed a Pterodactyl’s favorite tree trunk.
When everything was ready, Rex said, “This is the biggest catapult in dinosaur history. Let’s do this!”
Stopping the Asteroid
With the catapult loaded, MJ and Rex worked together to pull it back. The asteroid was getting closer, glowing like a fiery ball in the sky.
“Ready… aim… FIRE!” Rex roared.
The boulder launched into the air with a loud whoosh. Everyone watched as it flew higher and higher… until it slammed into the asteroid. The asteroid spun off course and exploded into harmless pieces of stardust.
“We did it!” MJ cheered.
The dinosaurs roared with excitement, stomping their feet and flapping their wings in celebration.
A Hero’s Goodbye
Rex bent down to shake MJ’s hand—or rather, his tiny claw. “Thank you, MJ. You’ve saved the dinosaurs and our beautiful world.”
Click beeped. “Time to head home, MJ. But don’t worry, you’ll always be a hero here.”
As the time machine whirred to life, MJ waved goodbye to Rex and his new dinosaur friends. Back in his garage, MJ sat down with his toy dinosaurs, smiling.
“Best day ever,” he said, already dreaming of his next adventure.
The End.
