MJ and the Mystery of the Disappearing Snacks
One sunny afternoon, MJ was ready for his favorite treat: a big bowl of popcorn and some dino-shaped cookies. He grabbed his snack plate from the kitchen and set it on the table while he ran to get his favorite toy T. rex.
When he came back, the popcorn and cookies were gone!
“What? Where did my snacks go?” MJ exclaimed, looking around. “This looks like a job for the Dino Detective Agency!”
Clues in the Living Room
MJ grabbed his detective hat and magnifying glass, then called his trusty toy Velociraptor and Triceratops to join him. “We have a snack thief on the loose,” MJ said, pointing at the empty plate.
First, he checked the living room. There, he found a trail of cookie crumbs leading to the couch. He crouched down and discovered something unusual—a little tuft of fur.
“Hmm… this might belong to the thief,” MJ said, tucking the clue into his imaginary evidence bag. “Let’s keep looking.”
A Squeaky Suspect
The trail of crumbs led MJ to the hallway, where he heard a faint squeaking sound. He turned the corner and found…a mouse!
“Did you take my snacks?” MJ asked, shining his magnifying glass on the little creature.
The mouse squeaked and ran off toward the back door, leaving behind more crumbs. “Not the main thief,” MJ concluded, “but we’re on the right track!”
The Big Reveal
The mouse’s trail led MJ and his dino team to the backyard. As they stepped outside, MJ spotted his dog, tail wagging and crumbs on its nose.
“Ah-ha!” MJ said, pointing dramatically. “The snack thief is you!”
The dog barked happily and dropped something on the ground—a single dino-shaped cookie.
MJ shook his head, laughing. “You couldn’t resist, could you?”
A Detective’s Reward
Back inside, MJ shared the cookie with his toy dinosaurs. “I guess we’ll call this case closed,” he said, patting his dog on the head. “But next time, I’m keeping my snacks closer!”
As Dad walked in with a fresh bowl of popcorn, MJ grinned. “Another mystery solved by the Dino Detective Agency!”
