One bright morning, MJ was in the backyard playing with his toy dinosaurs. His favorite was a big, green T. rex he named Thunder. He ran around roaring like a dinosaur when Dad walked outside.
“MJ, you’ve got the biggest and bravest T. rex I’ve ever seen!” Dad said with a smile.
“I know! Thunder can save me from anything!” MJ declared, hopping on the toy T. rex as if it were real.
Suddenly, the wind picked up, and a strange shadow passed overhead. MJ looked up to see… bats? No, they weren’t bats—they were vampires flying down from the sky!
A Big Problem
MJ’s eyes grew wide. “Daddy! Vampires! They’re coming to bite me!” he shouted, clutching Thunder tightly.
Dad crouched beside him. “Don’t worry, buddy. You’re brave, and you have Thunder. Vampires don’t stand a chance against a boy and his dinosaur.”
MJ grinned, his fear melting into excitement. “Thunder will protect me! Let’s go, Thunder!” he said, pretending to ride the T. rex across the backyard.
The Vampire Chase
As the vampires swooped closer, MJ imagined Thunder roaring to scare them away. “ROARRRR!” MJ shouted, shaking his toy like it was alive.
But the vampires weren’t scared. “We’re not afraid of dinosaurs!” one of them hissed. “We want to bite you!”
MJ didn’t panic. He picked up a stick and waved it in the air. “You better watch out, vampires! I’m Super MJ, and I’ve got a dinosaur!”
The vampires hissed and chased him around the yard, but MJ kept pretending to ride Thunder, his laughter echoing as he dodged them.
A Dino Defender
Just when it seemed like the vampires were closing in, MJ had an idea. “Thunder, use your tail!” he shouted.
He spun around, swinging a toy stick like a tail, and pretended Thunder was swiping at the vampires. “Take that! And that!”
The vampires yelped and flew back, their red eyes glowing. “This boy is too clever!” one vampire growled.
“Yeah, and too brave for you!” MJ said, standing tall.
The Power of the Sun
As the chase continued, Dad pointed to the sky. “MJ, look! The sun’s coming out!”
MJ grinned. “Vampires don’t like the sun! Thunder, we just have to keep them busy until the light scares them away!”
He ran in circles, roaring and pretending to charge at the vampires with Thunder’s powerful jaws. The first rays of sunlight began to peek through the clouds, and the vampires screeched.
“Nooo! The sun!” they cried, flapping their wings and flying away.
A Hero’s Victory
MJ stopped running and raised his arms in victory. “We did it, Thunder! We scared the vampires away!”
Dad clapped from the porch. “You were amazing, MJ! You and Thunder are the best team ever.”
MJ smiled and hugged his toy T. rex. “Thunder, you’re the best dinosaur in the whole world.”
Bedtime for a Brave Boy
That night, as MJ got ready for bed, he told Dad all about the adventure. “The vampires tried to bite me, but Thunder and I stopped them!”
Dad tucked him in and said, “You’re the bravest dinosaur rider I know, buddy. Sweet dreams of more adventures.”
MJ snuggled up with Thunder and whispered, “Goodnight, Thunder. Tomorrow, we’ll fight more bad guys.”
As he drifted off to sleep, MJ dreamed of riding dinosaurs, chasing vampires, and being the bravest superhero the world had ever seen.
The End.
