One bright afternoon, MJ was zooming around the house, pretending to be Lucio, the Red Dinoster! He stomped his feet like a powerful dino warrior and swung his arms like he was ready for battle.
“I am the fastest, strongest, coolest Red Dinoster there ever was!” MJ declared, flexing his muscles.
He ran outside, imagining he was in a dinosaur jungle, ready for adventure. But just as he was about to jump off the porch like a superhero—
He saw something weird bouncing around the yard.
Boing! Boing! Boing!
MJ squinted. “Huh?”
There, hopping around like a pogo stick, was a one-legged crab!
MJ’s eyes widened. “WHOA! What are you?”
The crab stopped bouncing and looked at him. “I’m Crabby McBounce!” it said in a squeaky voice.
MJ laughed. “You’re bouncing all over the place! Where’s your other leg?”
Crabby shrugged. “I lost it during a wild adventure, but that’s okay! Now I’m the bounciest crab ever!”
MJ grinned. “You sound like me! I’m Lucio, the Red Dinoster, and I’m the fastest dino hero ever!”
Crabby tilted its head. “Fastest? Hah! I bet I can out-bounce you!”
MJ smirked. “Oh, it’s ON.”
The Ultimate Speed vs. Bounce Race
Crabby and MJ lined up at the edge of the yard.
“The finish line is the big tree!” Crabby said, pointing with his claw.
MJ stretched his arms. “Easy. I’ll get there in one second.”
Crabby chuckled. “We’ll see about that!”
“Ready… set… GO!”
MJ blasted forward, his legs moving so fast they were a blur.
But BOING! BOING! BOING!
Crabby McBounce hopped like a rocket, bouncing high into the air and landing even farther each time.
“What?! How are you so fast?!” MJ gasped.
Crabby laughed. “It’s all about the bounce, my dino friend!”
MJ pushed himself harder, zipping across the grass, zooming around rocks, and dodging sticks.
Crabby bounced high, flipping over bushes and boinging over puddles.
The finish line was so close.
MJ leaped forward just as Crabby did one final, SUPER BOUNCE!
Both of them slammed into the tree at the same time!
BONK!
They landed in a pile of leaves, laughing.
“That was AWESOME!” MJ said, out of breath.
Crabby grinned. “You’re fast, but I gotta say… my bounce is unstoppable.”
MJ nodded. “We make a pretty cool team.”
A New Adventure Begins
Just then, the ground rumbled.
MJ and Crabby looked up to see something massive coming through the trees.
It was a MEGA JUMPING FROG—as tall as a house!
RIBBIT! It let out a deep croak, shaking the ground.
“Ohhh no,” Crabby gulped. “That thing bounces even better than me!”
MJ cracked his knuckles. “Time for the Red Dinoster and Crabby McBounce to team up!”
Crabby nodded. “Let’s gooo!”
And with that, they ran and bounced toward their next big adventure!
