Avey and the Electric Puzzle

Avey had always been curious about how things worked. One rainy afternoon, while the clouds rumbled and the wind tapped on the windows, she was building towers with her magnetic blocks in the living room when a strange buzz came from the hallway.

“That’s weird,” Avey said, standing up. The lights flickered once, then again, and then a pop! came from under the stairs.

Curious as ever, Avey tiptoed over and discovered a tiny glowing device wedged between old books and wires. It looked like a remote with blinking buttons and a dial that spun on its own.

Just as she reached for it, Kiki peeked around the corner. “What is that?”

“I don’t know yet,” Avey whispered. “But it’s definitely… cool.”

MJ came sliding in wearing his dinosaur socks. “It’s a robot controller! Let’s press the red button!”

“Wait, no! Let’s figure out what it does first,” Avey said. She loved mysteries, and this was the best one yet.

Together, they tinkered with the glowing buttons. Avey noticed that when she connected wires in certain ways, the device made different sounds. Beep-boop! Bzzzt! DING!

Then suddenly—ZAP!—a holographic projection popped up in midair. It showed a blueprint of the house with hidden circuits and puzzle paths lighting up in every room.

“Guys,” Avey said wide-eyed, “this isn’t just some gadget… it’s a puzzle map. A secret electronic treasure hunt!”

Their mission? To use their brains and teamwork to follow the glowing circuits and fix hidden connections around the house. Each completed puzzle lit up another part of the map.

They had to decode wire colors, connect magnetic charges, even build a simple motor with household parts. Avey’s favorite moment was when she made a mini flashlight using foil, a battery, and a paperclip.

As the last wire clicked into place, a hidden drawer in the wall slid open. Inside? A glowing crystal with a note:

“To the curious mind that solved the circuits,

You are now the Guardian of the Hidden Current.”

Avey held the crystal proudly.

Kiki clapped. “You’re like an electric wizard!”

MJ cheered. “You fixed the house!”

That night, as they told Danielle and Dad the story over dinner, Avey smiled wide. She knew now: electronics weren’t just wires and buttons — they were keys to hidden worlds.

And she couldn’t wait to build her next invention.

? Moral of the Story

Curiosity and problem-solving can unlock incredible discoveries. Use your mind, work together, and never be afraid to ask, “How does this work?”
