One quiet evening, just after bedtime, something strange happened at Dad’s house. The floor gave a tiny bump, then a wiggle, then a great big WOOOOOSH!
The house began to float!
LaLa looked up from her crib and clapped. “Wheee!”
MJ peeked out his window. “Dad! Our house is flying!”
Kiki zoomed out of her room wearing her sparkly cape. “This is definitely superhero stuff.”
Avey ran in with her notebook. “We need a plan!”
Dad blinked. “Okay, team. Let’s figure this out before we float into outer space!”
? The House in the Sky
The house floated higher and higher—above the trees, over the clouds, and all the way to the stars. Birds waved. Airplanes blinked their lights. A curious space jellyfish even waved a glowing tentacle!
The kids all took charge:
Avey mapped the stars and tracked their path with constellations. Kiki opened the window and shouted directions to steer the house like a pirate captain. MJ tied his favorite dino toys together to use as anchors (they didn’t work, but he looked super cool doing it). LaLa tossed cookies into the air. “Cookies make it better!”
Dad stood at the kitchen island, making cocoa for everyone, smiling wide.
“This house is held up by love,” he whispered. “That’s the real magic.”
? A Special Visitor
Just as the family floated past the moon, a glowing creature appeared. It was the Dream Keeper, a soft creature made of stardust and lullabies.
“You’ve passed the test,” she said kindly. “Only the strongest families can guide their house with teamwork, love, and giggles. You may now float safely… or return home.”
The kids all looked at Dad.
“Home,” they all said together.
With a sprinkle of stardust and a group hug, the house gently floated back to Earth, landing softly with a bump! right where it belonged.
That night, as everyone drifted to sleep, a soft glow sparkled outside the window. The stars knew: this was a family full of heart.
? Moral of the Story
With love, teamwork, and a little imagination, any family can rise above anything—even gravity.
